2025 Flea at RPI - Electronics, PC, Radios

Our first flea market attracted 200 student and local visitors in March 2024! The W2SZ Amateur Radio Club at RPI is excited to announce our second electronics flea market event!

  • When: Saturday, February 1st, 2025

  • Where: Rensselaer Union McNeil Room (2nd floor lobby), 1761 15th St, Troy, NY 12180

  • What: Join us for a day packed with:

    • A wide array of electronics, PC, radio, and unique vintage finds
    • Loads of door prizes
    • Hundreds of electronics enthusiasts peers
    • NEW Project show!
      • Poster session for individual & club projects
        • Showcase achievements
        • Recruit club member - from all majors!
        • Receive feedback on projects
        • Get new project ideas
  • Admission: Free student buyer admission with valid student ID.

    • General admission: $6, or $5 with a flyer/social media sharing.
    • Sellers (4x3 rectangular table):
      • Early bird (by Jan. 24th): $10 first table, then $5 per additional.
      • At the door: $15 first table, then $10 per additional.

Whether you’re a student, a seasoned ham, or just curious about amateur radio, there’s something for everyone at the W2SZ Hamfest.

Parking and Loading

Talk-in 146.940 simplex. Volunteers are there to guide parking and loading.

No parking enforcement on weekends.

Loading Zone

We encourage sellers to load items at designated loading zones. Follow 🟢 Green areas on the map.

8-9 AM: Use main loading zone at horseshoe. ⚠️ This is also a RPI shuttle bus stop. Yield to bus operation.

After 9 AM: Use alternative back loading zone to avoid pedestrians.

Parking lot

There are several parking lots around campus labeled with 🔵 Blue marks.

The VIP Parking Lot reserved for event staff has 🟠 Yellow mark.

Street

Street parking is available on 15th Street and Sage Avenue.
